The Akoya pearls are the classic Japanese Pearls the name derives from the geographical origin of the cultivation of excellence of the pearls. The biological characteristics of the seas surrounding Japan are such that other nations have been able to exploit natural resources, in turn obtaining Akoya cultured pearls that are indistinguishable from Japanese cultivation. The buyer can only take advantage of the strong competition for which today it is possible to buy fine strings of pearls at lower prices of Chinese origin. The Japanese, strengthened by their know-how, concentrated on the production of pearls, top of the range, with a larger diameter with one superlative quality.
